Plexus is a Personal Fitness Company, located in Wilmington, Delaware.
Plexus offers personal training and health and fitness programming within companies, private clubs and in-home.
Plexus also operates an upscale personal fitness club located in the heart of downtown Wilmington within the Nemours building.
Founded in 1999, Plexus designs and orchestrates the development of onsite corporate fitness facilities throughout the Greater Wilmington area.

BRAD BOLDING, CSCS
"It is not my goal to just show people new and different ways to train and change their bodies - My goal is to use these tools to create a positive impact on ones lifestyle and view of bettering the human body in every way available to ones needs."
Brad Bolding, CSCS has spent most of his life competing as an athlete, along with exploring different ways to improve performance and conditioning for sport and everyday life. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he attained a B.S. in Sports Management. Brad is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has worked with numerous teams and individual athletes within the Philadelphia area, ranging from high school to professional levels, along with countless hours spent on individual programming and personal training. Brad has worked in professional tennis and has overseen strength and speed programs of several high school sports teams here in Delaware. Currently, Brad is the director of Plexus at Nemours, while pursuing his MBA at Goldey-Beacom College.

ELIZABETH FLORES
"I started working in Plexus with the goal of working in a casual, relaxed, non-corporate company where I can pursue my other passions side by side only to realize that I had walked into the company of a second family who opened doors for me to a new world of possibilities."
Elizabeth Flores believes that success is measured by hard work and dedication. She takes pride in everything she does. She administers all marketing efforts such as print design, website maintenance, online marketing and other creative projects.
Elizabeth studied Psychology at University of Delaware and Graphic Design at Art Institute of Philadelphia. She has worked with various types of companies over the years that gave her a strong foundation in her work ethics and her versatility. She also has the passion of creating different papery projects and enjoys designing stationery. Elizabeth loves a great challenge in everything - and this is what keeps her going!

JOHN GILLESPIE, SR.

John J. Gillespie, The real "John Gillespie" as opposed to "Johnny the son" has many years of management expertise in the engineering profession. Management principles are the same whether the business is engineering or fitness. As Chief Operating Officer there are many tasks to handle on the management side of the business, as simple as ordering supplies and as complicated as planning and directing the construction of the next expansion project. John loves his role as managing day to day operations as well as the challenge of skillfully directing the growth of Plexus.
Mr. G., as he is called, is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Additionally, since retiring in 2003 from civil engineering, he has become certified as a personal trainer. Today's senior citizens are continuing to work beyond retirement age whether in the same profession, or trying something new. His professional and managerial background is an added benefit to the Plexus Family. On the side he loves to watch all the professional Philadelphia sports teams especially the Eagles.

SANDY GOOD
"I made a decision over a year ago to make major changes in my lifestyle and become healthier. When I interviewed with Plexus, I knew immediately that this was where I wanted to work. I love the idea that I am surrounded by people whose sole purpose for working here is to help people change their lives."
Sandy Good attended Widener University majoring in Accounting. She worked for 14 years at The Franklin Mint as a staff accountant, and for 16 years as Financial Manager for The Chaddsford Winery.

JODI DAVIDSON
"Attaining balance in my life is taking me on a beautiful journey. I'm striving to achieve balance through the path of yoga and living a positive, active lifestyle."
Jodi has completed a 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training certified through the Yoga Alliance. Studying material about the body and mind allows her to continue to grow as a motivational trainer.
Balance is the overall theme of Jodi's workouts which holistically combine cardio work, weight training and yoga. She understands that people lead busy lives and making time to work out can be hard. But she strongly believes if you want to live a life of happiness, harmony and health you need to make the time for your mind and body. Jodi's training programs are based on the client's ability levels and structured to help them accomplish their personal goals.

MIKE DAVIS, NSCA-CPT, ACSM-HFI
"The key to success in developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is being educated and informed enough to cut through all of the myths and hype of fitness and nutrition. It is my goal to provide each client with the tools, knowledge, and techniques to meet their goals in the safest and best way possible."
Mike Davis has a way of making you feel comfortable while building trust and confidence allowing you to reach higher. Mike keeps up to date with all of the latest scientifically based methodology, focusing especially on human movement and functional performance training. He finds this type of workout can provide physical challenges that are new and different from the usual weightlifting and cardiovascular activity. Adding other physical activity, and keeping a balanced diet, rounds out a complete fitness program.
Mike graduated in May 2006 with honors from Delaware Technical and Community College, earning his Associate in Exercise Science. Through rigorous coursework and internship program, Mike gained knowledge and experience from those currently practicing in the industry. He plans to further his education by getting his Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science. Through a personal love for fitness and a true compassion for his client base, Mike is doing all he can to be an example of total wellness.

JOHNNY GILLESPIE, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, e-RYT

Johnny Gillespie, a dynamic and youthful teacher of health and fitness, founded Plexus in 1999 with the perspective that fitness was more than just exercise. He began his career in 1995 after graduating from West Virginia University School of Physical Education. He holds numerous certifications in the fitness field including the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
In 2002 he founded Empowered Yoga a subsidiary of Plexus which currently operates yoga centers in Wilmington , Newark and within the Hockessin Athletic Club. Johnny is a national presenter with the NSCA where he teaches the Balanced Athlete Program. He currently lives in West Chester with his wife Sara and their three children Jimmy, Leia and Liam.

JILL REED, NSCA-CPT, RYT

When Working with Jill Reed, RYT you will have a balanced workout fusing weight training and yoga postures that will build strength and flexibility. Her goal as your trainer to help you view your workout as more than just lifting weights, but rather a complete mind and body experience. Your body is a unit and should be worked as such, with a balance of strength, flexibility and core moves. Incorporating yoga into the workout helps alleviate the stress that daily life brings. Our focus will be on having a challenging workout, the overall objective is that you'll leave each session feeling more relaxed and at peace than when you came in.
Jill is a graduate from the University of Delaware with a BA in Exercise Science & Fitness Management. Jill has worked in cardiac rehab at Christiana Care, taught health at a local high school, and has worked at an MBNA fitness center. Her diverse experience enables her to work with all ages and populations, giving Jill a well-rounded knowledge base. Jill is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Empowered Yoga and currently works within the corporate fitness division of Johnny Fitness.

JOHN MENDENHALL
"I truly believe that fitness is more than just training, it's therapy, motivating and organizing balance in all aspects of your life."
John Mendenhall is currently the Director of Johnny Fitness at Friess Associates. John started his career in fitness in 1994 and has thousands of hours of hands experience with people of all ages and physical capabilities. John loves designing dynamic exercise routines and then coaching those routines with enthusiasm. John is IFA (International Fitness Association) personal trainer certified and is currently studying for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) personal trainer certification.

SHARA BUBES
"My goal is to empower people into making fitness a part of their life and not just a one week adventure. I hope to pass on my excitement and positive attitude about getting and staying in shape."
Shara Bubes started training after the birth of her first child and worked to get back into shape after having twins. Fitness soon became a way of life for Shara as she realized it made her feel better in all aspects of her life.
Shara received her BA from Penn State University and later attended West Chester University where she obtained her teaching certificate. She holds a certification in personal training from American Fitness Professionals Association and has taken continuing education courses in Pilates. Shara has been working with Plexus since April 2000.

STEVE CORREALE, NSCA-CPT
"I focus on helping people see the bigger picture of health and fitness. I have found quick changes don't last and instead focus on making small changes that foster a better long run!"
Steve Correale's, NSCA-CPT passion for fitness evolved after working with his own trainer at age 13 preparing for the upcoming sports season. He began working in the fitness industry in 2001 at large fitness club. From there he decided that he wanted to be in a smaller more personalized club which eventually lead him to Plexus. Steve currently is the director of Plexus at the Vicmead Hunt Club. Steve is a certified personal trainer through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI), and attended the University of Delaware for Fitness Management. Working out with Steve you will do a variety of challenging exercises geared towards helping you reach your short and long term goals.

SARA GILLESPIE
"I love to move my body and sweat. Fitness has got to be fun yet challenging! I believe the foods you put into your body play a huge role in creating the BEST YOU!"
Sara Gillespie will knock you over every workout with her gorgeous and contagious smile. She loves to combine many different exercise disciplines into a challenging and stimulating workout. The laughter can soften the intensity of her workouts which can be very tough.
Sara's love for human movement began at an early age of 4 when she began her youth career as a swimmer. Throughout her youth Sara excelled in swimming as well as on the track as a sprinter. She attended the University of Maryland on an athletic scholarship and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology, which is the study of human movement. Sara taught Physical Education for several years before joining Plexus. Sara is also passionate about yoga and has studied the Anusara method with Moses Brown and Kathleen Hogan.

MATT VAHEY, NSCA-CPT
"My life would not be complete without helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle; a fitness based lifestyle is the catalyst to a more fulfilling and happier life."
Matt Vahey joined Johnny Gillespie on his venture of starting up Johnny Fitness in 1999. Matt is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a 200-hour certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance. Matt is also an avid mountain biker. His knowledge of fitness and nutrition coupled with an insatiable work ethic has helped him make his way up the ranks to placing in the top 3 at the semi-pro level.
Matt is known for his amazing attitude and empathetic nature. He prides himself on keeping up with new products, developments, and trends in the fitness and nutrition industries. Matt oversees the daily operations of all Plexus sites. He is all about teaching fitness for life; by helping you go after your objectives and keeping you focused through a good fitness and diet program.

KRIS BENARCIK
"I remember the first time I was called an athlete and how powerful it made me feel. Helping others achieve what they are physically capable of and to realize they too have an inner athlete, makes exercise become something enjoyable and welcomed."
Kris believes in making the most of your training time so you might be combining free weight and stability ball work, cardio and plyometrics, or stretching and yoga-based exercises to achieve your personalized goals. She likes to change things up from workout to workout to prevent boredom and burnout. Each workout will help make you stronger, keep you challenged and give you functional power.
After 20 years in public horticulture, Kris felt drawn to exercise profession. She's a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute and a Master's rower who competes at both local and national levels.

DANIELLE FILLIMON
"Being a part of Plexus has been a learning experience. I believe it is important to strive for good health, and everyone here has the same values, enabling me to learn something new everyday from fellow Plexus team members."
Danielle Fillimon spent most of her life as a dancer and competitive amateur figure skater. She began coaching figure skating at a young age and by the end of her high school career transitioned into a professional figure skater. She continued her love for health and sports by attending Wesley College and graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science. After graduating she continued to coach skating until joining the Plexus team.

DAN DALY, CSCS
"Plexus fosters a dynamic working environment unique to the industry, allowing its employees the freedom and creativity to help their clients reach their full potential. I get tremendous satisfaction in helping others realize this potential."
Dan leads by example with his personal standards and a firm disposition that commands the best out of others. Dan realized at an early age his aptitude for athletics. Earning a swimming scholarship to Fordham University, he began narrowing his academic focus to exercise physiology and the study of human movement. Shortly after, he made the move to help him realize his own potential by transferring to West Chester University.
It was here that he earned the honors of both athletic All-American and a degree in Kinesiology. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA with an extensive background in sport-specific training. Through his successes he strives to bridge the gap between his theoretical knowledge and the practical application of sport and fitness. His philosophy for training movements not muscles, improves not only a person’s exterior, but a deeper quality of life, which he believes lies at the forefront of the health movement of this century.
